Amplifying Black Voices through the #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund

UpSkill Universe collaborated with YouTube to design and deliver a comprehensive program supporting Black creators as part of the $100 million #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund initiative.
Challenge
YouTube aimed to center and amplify Black voices on its platform, with a goal to reach 500 creators and artists over three years. The challenge was to create a program that would empower Black creators, build trust, and help them succeed on the platform.
Solution
UpSkill Universe developed a year-long program including a Creator Summit, mentorship opportunities, YouTube University Certification, fireside chats, collaboration sessions, and mental health support. The program culminated in a Creator Film Festival and Awards Show.
