Laurens is a design thinker, trainer and a Google Sprint facilitator. He is a mentor at the Accelerator Programme of the Dutch Journalism Fund (SVDJ), and hosts the YouTube show Future Journalism Today LIVE in which he interviews innovators in journalism from all across Europe. Until recently, Laurens worked as a Teaching Fellow at the Google News Lab, travelling all over the Nordics, Belgium and the Netherlands. During his 26-month fellowship, he has had the privilege to work with well-over 2200 journalists, among others from Dagens Nyheter, Altinget, Bonnier, TV2, YLE, Mediahuis, DPG Media, NOS, Financieele Dagblad (FD) and the KRO-NCRV. Before joining Google, Laurens did design research with multiple Dutch news organisations (RTL Nieuws, Nu.nl, FD, Het Parool) as a Fellow of the 'Journalism Research Group' at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (HU) and was awarded Lecturer of the Year (2013). While teaching UX & Journalism classes, he directed a radio show called 'Nacht van het Goede Leven' (Night of the Good Life) on National Public Radio 1. He graduated as European Media Master of Arts in Interactive Media in 2003.

Felix is a 2-times AWS certified individual who has been training AWS re/start program in Africa; Kenya and Ghana in particular. Currently, they are undergoing the process of becoming an accredited AWS Technical Trainer. Felix has gained a lot of knowledge in the last few years on how to conduct successful trainings for the fulfilment of the trainees and other stakeholders. Last year they were voted the best Trainer for AWS Trainings in the AWS Kenya re/start program. An ongoing learner's survey up to this point in time continues to rank them as the best trainer among the thirty Technical Trainers that work at Azubi Africa (AWS partner for re/start program in parts of Africa). They have also been involved in transcription, digital marketing and data management (analysis) trainings. They sometimes do appear as a guest speaker in training across the country virtually. On top of the training skills, they have also been doing sentiment analysis and opinion mining, which is key in analysing feedback to better services and processes. The knowledge in this field has helped them a lot in knowing how to take feedback.

Seamus is an independent presenter/senior broadcast journalist and media consultant / trainer, with a career that now spans more than 30 years. The holder of both Irish and New Zealand citizenship, he has held senior positions at numerous organisations including the BBC, Euronews, Radio France International and Radio New Zealand. Seamus’ recent work as a media trainer includes giving journalism and communication classes (university & private journalism schools) and he also recently delivered digital news training to UK and French publishers. Media relations training includes the holding of UNWTO workshops in the Democratic Republic of Congo and UNWTO-World Bank workshops in Madagascar. Seamus is also the host of international conferences and the moderator of public debates, most recently moderating regular virtual round tables with global business leaders. He also holds media awareness workshops (most recently in prisons and with civic service volunteers) and is a public speaking coach (most recently with new business owners, technical college students and young sports ambassadors). As well as being specialised in European and international affairs, Seamus produced and presented numerous global programmes at Euronews for many years. In February 2019 he established his own company as an independent presenter / journalist and media relations consultant.

Kristina holds an MA equivalent in communication science from the University of Vienna. She started as editor at ORF – Ö1 “Radio Nachbar in Not”. After that she was project coordinator at the International Press Institute (IPI) in Vienna, monitoring media landscapes in the SEE region. She then worked in the PR department at the Life Ball office and after that as project manager at Echo Medienhaus. She changed internally to Echo TV, where she worked as TV editor for the daily show “Wien live TV”, broadcast on W24. From here she went to WirtschaftsBlatt, where she was a sales director for digital products, and later video product manager and B2B marketing manager at styria digital one (sd one) unit. After internal restructuring she joined the miss magazine, where she was senior media adviser, concentrating on content marketing, videos and social media. Next to managing her own advertising agency, today she is also external lecturer for social media at the FH Wien der WKW in Vienna.

Nathan was born and raised in the Bronx. Formally educated in New York City's public education system, Nathan discovered his love of learning in the gifted & talented program. During his undergraduate studies, his passion was ignited for serving humanity by taking a social work course titled, ""Youth at risk and Social Work"". Currently, Nathan serves as the Chief of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Culturally Responsive Education at Harlem Village Academies (HVA). In his current role, Nathan leads the HVA Network in incorporating restorative practices, progressive classroom management, social-emotional learning and mindfulness in daily instruction and interactions. Prior to this work, Nathan laid the groundwork at KIPP STAR College Prep Charter School and KIPP NYC as their founding School Social Worker and Founding Director of Counselling Services. Nathan is an adjunct faculty member in the Schools of Social Work at Columbia University, Fordham University and New York University. Nathan serves as the Board Chair of Let's Talk Safety, Inc. and is an inaugural member of the Dean's Advisory Council at Columbia's School of Social Work and a board member of their Alumni Association. Additionally, Nathan has served in leadership roles in a wide range of nonprofits including Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc. and the New York Road Runners. Most recently, Nathan co-founded a community roller skating group called Bronx Rollin Sk8ers that aims to provide a positive, safe and healthy roller skating experience for the people of the Bronx.
