Walmart Inc., particularly its Sam’s Club division, identified a diversity bottleneck where employees with marginalised identities faced unique barriers to career progression. The challenge was to address these barriers effectively and create long-lasting impact across the organisation.

Solution

UpSkill Universe delivered a series of practical workshops focused on crucial aspects of diversity and inclusion. These included “Leading Diverse Teams,” “Culturally Conscious Communication,” and “Championing Allyship.” Each workshop was accompanied by practical tips that could be implemented immediately in the workplace. The sessions were led by US-based trainers who encouraged attendees to engage in meaningful discussions and activities, ensuring real-world application of the concepts learned.
