BT partnered with UpSkill Universe to empower its ethnically diverse talent through a targeted leadership development program.
Challenge
BT, a leading telecommunications company, recognized the need to address the underrepresentation of ethnically diverse leaders within its senior management ranks. Despite its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), the company faced challenges in translating its DEI strategy into tangible career advancement opportunities for underrepresented groups. BT sought a solution to empower its ethnically diverse talent and create a more inclusive leadership pipeline.
Solution
BT partnered with UpSkill Universe to deliver the Level Up Ethnicity Programme, a 12-month leadership development journey designed specifically for ethnic minority talent at the Career Level D. Our expert facilitators provided a comprehensive curriculum focused on inclusive and collective leadership, reflective practice, network building, and collaborative career development. The program’s agile approach ensured that learner feedback was continuously incorporated, resulting in relevant and meaningful workshops tailored to each individual’s needs
