UpSkill Universe partnered with Fujitsu to address gender disparities in leadership roles, resulting in increased promotions and retention of women in Global Delivery Centres.
Challenge
Fujitsu Ltd., a leading Japanese technology company, recognised the underrepresentation of women at every stage of the career pipeline in its Global Delivery Centres (GDCs). The company sought to address this issue by enhancing the knowledge and confidence of women in leadership roles, preparing them for future senior positions.
Solution
UpSkill Universe developed a targeted programme to shift the mindset of women in leadership roles, aligning with Fujitsu’s vision for 2024 and beyond. The solution included three 90-minute Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions, featuring interactive live learning with breakout activities, reflections, and group discussions. These sessions encouraged healthy dialogue about the importance of women in leadership roles. UpSkill Universe also provided learning outcomes and a toolkit to inspire women to pursue leadership careers, equipping them with essential tools and skills for career expansion.
